About Me
State Rep. Will Tallman is in his second term of service to the citizens of the 193rd Legislative District. He is a member of the following four House committees during the 2011-12 session: Education, Game and Fisheries, Liquor Control and Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness. He is also a member of the Liberty Caucus.

Following graduation, he wrote technical manuals for Piper Aircraft in Lock Haven and later worked in computer, engineering and management positions for various companies in Pennsylvania.
 
While living in Tioga County, Tallman served two terms on the Wellsboro Area School District Board of Education and was president of the board for two years. He also served on the Pennsylvania School Board Association’s legislative council.
 
From 1994 to 1998 and since 2004, Tallman has served on the Adams County Republican Committee including a term as treasurer. He is currently a member of the county committee’s executive committee and president of the Adams County Republican Club and has served on the Republican State Committee. 
 
He attended New Tribes Bible Institute and is a deacon in his church, where he is involved with youth activities.
 
He is a member of the Hampton Fire Department as an EMT, and is a member of the National Rifle Association (NRA) and former NRA hunter safety instructor. 
 
Tallman was born on March 25, 1947, in Lock Haven. He and his wife Suzanne live in New Oxford and are the parents of four children, three of whom are missionaries and a fourth who serves in the U.S. Army.  
 
The 193rd District includes the Adams County municipalities of Berwick, Butler, Hamilton, Huntington, Latimore, Menallen, Oxford, Reading and Tyrone townships, and Abbottstown, Bendersville, Biglerville, East Berlin, New Oxford and York Springs boroughs, as well as Penn Township and Hanover Borough in York County.
